My 30 Day Blog Posting Challenge

My 30Day Blog Posting Challenge

Taking part in a group challenge is the perfect way to stay motivated and to get things done. I wrote about the benefits in a previous post called 10 Reasons You Should Join a 30 Day Writing Challenge.

This month I am going to work hard on this 30 Day Blog Posting Challenge.

Now I am calling this a blog posting challenge because I will not always be creating content from scratch. I am challenging myself to publish content once a day for the month.

3 Ways I Will Add Content to My Websites

The 3 ways that I will be adding content to my websites is by

  • Creating new posts
  • Using PLR articles
  • Re-purposing older content from old blogs or Web 2.0 properties.

I have a couple of blogs that I want to add content to so I will be using the above methods in order to complete this challenge.

Some articles that were once on sites like Squidoo and Hubpages will be copied onto my own sites with affiliate links to Amazon. Let’s see if I can make a little commission from my own domains.

How I Will Stay Motivated On This Challenge

My 30Day Blog Posting ChallengeI am a member of two article writing groups over on Facebook. These groups will help to keep me accountable. I will publish my post for the day then head over and add my link in those groups.

I will also provide support to the other members by visiting their websites, leaving comments and sharing their content using my Facebook page, my Google + account or my Twitter account.

Would You Like To Join The Challenge?

Anyone and everyone is welcome. Simply click on one or both of the links above, introduce yourself to the group and get writing. You can jump in at any time so don’t worry about missing the beginning of the month.

So this is my first post for the challenge. Done, dusted, published and shared!

Good luck to everyone and happy writing πŸ™‚

Have Your Say: What sort of things do you do in order to stay motivated to get your online tasks done? Do you have an accountability partner? I would love you to share your thoughts in the comments section below.

      Hey Sarah,
This month’s article writing challenge doesn’t have a theme this month. That’s good because I can share my content in both camps. I think that next month there will be a different type of challenge though πŸ™‚

Good luck with the blogging challenge, Victoria. I’m on that too – Day 9 now. It seems like I’ve been doing it for longer, but I’m enjoying it a lot πŸ™‚ I like the sound of an article writing challenge but don’t think I could do both at once. I look forward to reading your posts πŸ™‚

Hi Elly – welcome to the blog.
PLR is basically pre-written content that is offered for sale. The person who buys has the right to do anything with the content except re-sell it. So you could buy articles about any topic, use as is or do a little edit so that it sounds like your voice and publish away.

I will write a blog post about this at some point. In the meantime check out the link below and sample a selection of Free PLR on offer. You can look at the quality for yourself and decide if this is something you could use for your business.

      Hope that helps πŸ™‚

Best of luck with your writing challenge! I did a solid month of blogging back in March and it was tough but very rewarding. At the moment I am dealing with the challenge of switching hosting and my theme!

Hi Victoria, Well done taking on the blog posting challenge!! I am currently participating in a 30 paintings in 30 days challenge that has attracted over 700 online participants. I’m just doing sketches this time. I think these online challenges are a fabulous way to keep motivated. Good luck with yours!

Challenges are the way to go. I joined one to write a kindle book in 30 days and it’s the only way I got it done. Now I need to find one on publishing and marketing it in 30 days!! Good luck and have fun!
