My March Review and April Goals

My March Review, Income Report & April Goals

Last week’s post My March Highlights looked at the wonderful stuff I got up to during the month. This week I am looking at how I did with my money making goals for March. This is also the time to set my goals for April. Here goes.

March Review and April Goals

My Goals for March & The Results

#1 To Write One Short Story
Yes

#2 To Publish One Short Story
Yes, I published Josephine Falls in Love

#3 To Create a Second Box Set for My Short Stories
Yes – The Love Series – Volume 2 – in the picture above 🙂

#4 To Publish 1 Post Per Week for This Blog
I only missed one week but I was on holiday and didn’t want to do any work. Here are the posts for March:

#5 To Add 100 New Subscribers to My Author List
Yes – I also signed up for a free account with Mailerlite. It has a really easy to use format. You can add up to 1,000 subscribers for free and if I upgrade, it works out cheaper than Aweber. I will see how things go.

#6 To Increase My Kindle Book Earnings by 100%
Yes – I was happy with the steady increase in profits. If you want to know exactly how much I earned, Enter Your Email Details Below to sign up to my newsletter and access to My Monthly Earnings Report 🙂

My Thoughts

I was happy with the income I made from my short stories but I wasn’t able to offer the discount that I wanted to. I think this would have increased my earnings even more.
This month I will be offering one of my box sets at a discount price. Let’s hope readers will grab it.

Goals for April

#1 To Write One Short Story
#2 To Publish Two Short Stories
#3 To Work on My 5 Day Challenge Workshop
#4 To Publish 1 Post Per Week for This Blog
#5 To Add 100 New Subscribers to My Author List
#6 To Increase My Kindle Book Earnings by 100%

My Plans for April

I am taking part in a Romance Books Free Giveaway Promo, which should increase my subscriber list.

I will be using the same 4-part email sequence that I used for March. I will measure to see if this is effective.

I have also signed up for a Discount book promo for the end of the month, where I am offering one of my box-sets for 99p / 99 cents, which should help increase sales.

I purchased Tiffany Lambert’s How to Host a Challenge Course and will work through this to create my own challenge. I have a couple of ideas and hope to have this completed by the end of the month. I will also write up a review for this course at some point.

That’s what I have planned for April. Keep your fingers crossed for me 🙂
