Quinn – A Flash Fiction Story

Quinn took a sip of her cappuccino. The froth outlined the top of her lip. She licked it off with complete satisfaction and smiled.

It had been months since she had visited this cafe. She usually sat in this very seat at least four times a week. She would take out her laptop and her notebook and get settled in and get on with writing articles that had been requested by her clients.

As a freelance content writer, she worked alone, so she liked to sit in the comfort of the cafe and enjoy the hubbub around her.

Today she wasn’t working. Today she just wanted to enjoy the hubbub. Lockdown was finally over, and this was how she wanted to celebrate.
