Natalie wasn’t very good at art. She wasn’t very good at getting down on paper what she conjured up in her head. The illustrations she tried to design always looked a bit odd. She couldn’t even pass the work off as abstract or modern art. No, it all just looked a bit odd.
She did have one idea, though.
One image that was made up of words. It was a short and snappy quote-like thing. Done in basic colours—red and black.
It was simple and didn’t take more than 5 minutes to create.
Natalie uploaded the image as a sticker, and to her utter surprise, she made a sale 24 hours later.
