Venetia was jumping up and down with joy and jubilation and delight. She had just stepped on the scales and was presented with the results of her hard work. She had lost weight. She had actually done it.
She was stunned and amazed. She tried to contain herself because, if truth be told, she hadn’t lost that much.
The scales revealed that she had dropped one pound of weight from her body. That might sound insignificant to some, but to Venetia, it was a miracle. She had never seen the scales go in the downward direction.
Ever.
How would she celebrate this momentous occasion?
