Caroline wasn’t afraid anymore. After years of hiding, she no longer cared what people would think. She had waited so long to share her truth but had always feared rejection or indifference. Now, she was ready to find out.
Ready to be her authentic self, she tucked her hair behind her ears, took a deep breath, and opened the door. As she stepped inside, she immediately recognised someone. For a moment, she hesitated.
But the person smiled and said, “Well, it’s about time you came.” Caroline exhaled with relief and smiled back, knowing she was finally free to be herself.
