Jessie couldn’t wait until he was allowed to go back to school. He missed his friends. He missed the daily routine of having somewhere to go and something to do.
He even admitted that he missed some of the classes and some of the teachers. Mrs Evans had been so kind to him. She had been in constant contact with him and his parents while he had been away.
He also found out who his true friends were. A couple of them had even shaved their heads in a show of solidarity and support.
Jessie was thankful it was all over. He was excited to go to class today.
