Michael – A Flash Fiction Story

Michael looked out the window and couldn’t believe what he saw. It was snowing. Big chunks of snow were falling from the sky. He could tell the event had been going on for a while because the snow had settled.

It covered the parked cars like a fluffy white blanket. It was still early, so most of the snow had been undisturbed.

When he looked a little closer, Michael noticed the telltale signs of tiny footprints. These were made from a cat or the feisty little fox he had seen roaming the streets in search of food.

Michael shivered as he looked out. It was a bleak start to the day.
