100 Short Stories Published Over 100 Days
Medium is a writing platform, where you can write about whatever you want. You have the ability to get paid for your writing, once you gain 100 followers.
When I discovered this writing platform, I wanted to find some way to help motivate me to post consistently there. That is when I learned about the 100 Story Challenge.
What is The 100 Story Challenge?
The original challenge started at the beginning of the year but you can jump in at any time. The idea was to use free images as prompts to create short fiction pieces and upload them each day.
I have tweaked this idea a little. I have a collection of short stories that I have written but I had no idea what to do with them. This challenge is the perfect way to share them.
My Short Stories
Quite a few of these stories will are titled simply with a name. When I wrote them, I didn’t want to get bogged down, trying to figure out a title. So I just used each letter of the alphabet and picked a name. So the first story is Alice, the second is Bailey, and so on until we reach Z for Zelda.
Then I will start again with a new set of names. Unless I get bored and try something else.
How Did The 100 Story Challenge Go?
I was able to publish my 100 stories. I was pleased that some of the stories received feedback comments from the other members on Medium.
