Saffy – A Flash Fiction Story

Saffy hadn’t slept well. Anxiety gnawed at her—today was huge.

Her test was in an hour. She’d aced the theory; now, the practical awaited. Passing meant she could chase her dream.

She longed to drive a big rig, those mighty articulated lorries she’d adored since childhood.

With five years of driving experience as well as a motorcycle license, she was no stranger to the road.

But today would push her limits. She took a deep breath.

Stay calm, stay focused.

If she held her nerve, she would be able to follow in her father’s footsteps.

This was her moment.
