Xenia was exhausted. Renovation was tough, but the reward would be worth it.
Saving for a deposit had taken years, and she’d been nervous at her first auction. Luck was on her side—she won the property, and the sale was smooth. The building was solid, just outdated.
Now, she was tackling the kitchen, clearing debris after ripping out old units. If luck held, the house would be done in three months, and she’d make a tidy profit.
Wiping sweat from her brow, she smiled. Hard work and luck had brought her this far—soon, it would all pay off.
