Yasmin felt powerful and strong. Her body glistened, covered in a sheen of sweat. She had just completed a 5 km run, and she felt amazing.
She had only taken up running a few weeks ago, and she had just run her longest distance ever. If you had asked her at the beginning of the year if she thought she was capable of running 5 km, she would have laughed.
But now, she had a raw determination. She had just passed her first goal and was well on her way to hitting her next. The London Marathon was in her sights. She knew she could do it.
She had to do it.
